Ramos Goncalo with a hat-trick – Portugal qualified for the quarter-finals

Substitute Goncalo Ramos scored a hat-trick as Portugal qualified for the World Cup quarter-finals.
Portugal defeated Switzerland 6-1.
Cristiano Ronaldo, 21, was poked as a substitute.
It would prove to lead Portugal to victory in the final round of 16 of the World Cup.
WC’s first trilogy
Goncalo Ramos had never started an international match for Portugal before, but scored a dream goal early in the 17th minute. The Benfica forward turned in the box and fired the ball wide before Jan Sommer closed in for the clock.
In the second half, Ramos scored the score 3-0 and his hat-trick was real in the 67th minute. Ramos came free with Jan Sommer and shot 5-1 against Portugal.
Gonzalo Ramos, of course, sparked reactions in the football world.

Ronaldo substitutes
Cristiano Ronaldo replaced the big-hitter with 20 minutes remaining after the crowd chanted Ronaldo’s name for much of the second half.
He had a ball in the net in the 84th minute but was waved offside. Instead, Rafael Leão would fail with a final score of 6-1.
In the quarter-finals, Portugal faces Morocco, who defeated Spain on penalties earlier Tuesday.
