Jesper Myrenberg has been loaned out to Djurgården from Linköping

Djurgården secures the keeper’s side before Karl Lindbom goes to JVM.

Linköping’s Jesper Myrenberg can move freely between clubs for the rest of the season.

– He will be able to be used by us if necessary, but he will now mainly come during the period Kale is away, says Djurgården KG Stoppel’s sporting director.

Carl Lindbom has been very successful in Hockeyallsvenskan with, among other things, four clean sheets.

On Tuesday, he was one of a quintet of Djurgårds players named to JVM’s junior crowns: Car Lindbom, Calle Odelius, Noah Östlund, Jonathan Lekkerimäki and Liam Öhrgren.

Djurgården therefore needs to secure the squad for six matches when these players are away with the junior crowns.

On the goalkeeper side, Matthew Galajda will be joined by loanee Jesper Meirenberg.

Playtime in a good environment

In the SHL, Jesper Myrenberg played five games and Markus Högberg 20 with Linköping

Jesper Myrenberg has had a good start to the season and is making strides in his development all the time. Now he has the chance to get more playing time in a good environment, which was a good solution for us, himself and Djurgården, says Linköping club manager Niklas “Pajen” Persson.

Next, Jesper Myrenberg will join Djurgården over the next week.

The 22-year-old Stockholm boy previously played in Hockeyallsvenskan for Vita Hästen and Västerås.

Djurgården dropped to fourth in the standings after five defeats in their last eight matches.
