Viktor Djukanovic is ready to face Hammarby – he signs a long contract

Hammarby made a new acquisition.

Montenegrin talent Viktor Djukanovic has signed a five-year contract.

– We are bringing in one of the Balkans’ most exciting and sought-after players, said Sporting Director Jesper Jansson.

During the day on Thursday, it became clear that Gustav Ludvigson would be leaving Hammarby for matches in South Korea.

Now the club introduces a new striker.

It is about the talent of Montenegro Viktor Djukanovic, 18, who signs a contract that runs until the 2027 season.

– Victor is an attacking player who played a lot on the edge, in the long run I also see that he can play as a central striker and ten. He is very good at a one-on-one challenge and wants a lot of the ball. “We are bringing in one of the Balkans’ most exciting and sought-after players after being chased by several top European clubs,” says sporting director Jesper Jansson on the club’s website.

Montenegro national team player

Djokanovic made his debut for Montenegro this summer and will also play in Nations League Group B matches. Jansson describes it as a signature of prestige.

– Choosing Victor Hammarby sounds like a real feather in our cap. We’re really looking forward to continuing to develop Viktor, he says.

The 18-year-old recently came from playing for Buducnost Podgorica in Montenegro and has scored 14 goals and four assists in 75 games for the club.
