AIK player Yassine Ayari followed by Premier League team Brighton

Yassine Ayari is endorsed by a number of foreign clubs and is expected to be sold from AIK this winter or summer.

According to info Sportbladet, Brighton is one of the clubs showing interest in the 19-year-old.

Yassine Ayari made his debut with the national team yesterday when he played 82 minutes in the Sweden A match against Finland. He played Christopher “Toot” Neyman with a 1-0 goal and was subsequently praised for his efforts on his debut.

AIK’s attacking midfielder has had outside interest in him for a long time, with AIK also anticipating selling him in the winter window. But so far he has not been sold and most of the international transfer windows closed on January 31.

The Premier League success team is interested in Ayari

According to well-established sources of Sportbladet, successful Premier League side Brighton are now showing interest in Ayari. This is according to several independent Sportbladet sources. The club has scouted him on numerous occasions in 2022. The club is known for nurturing young talent and also has a strategy of signing and then selling young players.

Brighton have Ayari on their list of potential signings already this winter, and the club also has a Belgian partner club, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, who are currently second in the Belgian First Division.

Should the situation become difficult, the alternative is for him to be drafted to Belgium first or loaned directly to the club. Brighton’s cooperation with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise is similar to, for example, the City Football Group and Manchester City have with Lommel SK in Belgium or with SC Troyes in Ligue 1.

There shouldn’t be a problem getting a work permit

Just like in the case of Hjalmar Ekdal to Burnley, if Brighton is going to Ayari, you have to get a work permit. In the case of Ekdal, this is not a problem because he has played several national matches and, above all, he has played many matches in Europe with Djurgården. European matches in particular are a hugely important thing when it comes to obtaining a work permit and what makes Ekdal have the go-ahead to sign for Burnley should the clubs agree.

As for Ayari, he has made five appearances in Europe since last year, but he is only 19 and could easily get a work permit under the exception rule. Otherwise, the alternative is to go to Royale Union Saint-Gilloise first. Brighton currently ranks eighth in the Premier League.
