After all, Pratt has been one of the Devils’ biggest wonder points during their successful current season — and when they won the Division 1 Final against Carolina in Raleigh last night, Bukvist scored the most beautiful goal of his NHL career to date.
– Our coach advised that it was possible to slip the ball between their goalkeeper’s legs, so that was on my mind, he told Sportbladet after the 5-3 win.
Jesper who usually makes headlines when the Devils play is Pratt and rightfully so – he’s become one of Sweden’s big NHL stars this year.
But they also have Boqvist and last night he showed with some really tasty moves that he deserves his paycheck.
In one attack in the last minute of the second half, he received the puck on the left side of the attack zone, cut inside the penalty area and elegantly threw a backhand between the legs of the striker Pyotr Kochetkov.
