The Boston Bruins have clearly been the best team in the NHL all fall and winter, but for now it’s arguable that last year’s expansion team from Seattle is getting hotter.
They have won every game during their uninterrupted journey away from home in the eastern half of the continent, and tonight they succeeded in something no one else has.
They beat Linus Allmark and the other Bears in Boston – during their usual game time. She did not give up on a single goal.
“I love our effort tonight,” said coach Dave Huxtol when he met the media afterward.
– I’m proud of my players, they have every reason to feel good now, because they all played very well. You don’t come here with any passengers and win hockey games.
Even losers give them credibility.
The Krakens have a really good team structure and their speed on defense has caused them big problems, said Boston coach Jim Montgomery.
Linus Allmark – who suffered only one loss before meeting with Seattle – agrees.
– But I don’t think we were surprised. We know they have a really good team, he says.
