Philip Holm in Orebro Long-term injury – from four to six weeks

Philip Holm has always been Orebro’s best player this season.

The 31-year-old defender has now been investigated after being pulled off in the 2-0 loss to Brennas on Saturday night.

It’s an injury that will keep him out for 4-6 weeks, says team doctor Ulf Nordström.

Philip Hulme rode a try by Brenas backing Johannes Kinfal in the first period.

After that, the main player could not play more in the match and now it was clear that he was injured for a long time.

Very sad of course not being able to join and help the team in the coming weeks. Philip Holm says: We have a good rehabilitation team and I have to work with them now to get back as quickly as possible.

Örebro scored a streak of points in nine consecutive games, which was broken by Brenas.

After a successful period, the team finished 5th in the table.

Fifth in the back league

The hope is that Philip Holm will return to the SM Finals, which start on March 11 with round 16 and continue to the quarter-finals from March 16.

Philip Holm has achieved great success since he signed a three-year contract with Örebro before this season with an important role, among other things, in his first power-playing squad.

With 25 points (four goals and 21 assists) in 32 games, he ranks fifth in the SHL scoring for defensemen.

This week, Örebro plays away against Timra on Thursday night and at home against HV71 on Saturday night.
