Frölunda played for more than an hour with a numerical advantage without scoring a goal.
Now head coach Roger Ronberg could consider resorting to radical solutions.
– If the players think we play better at the power game if I stand naked in the booth, I will do it, he told Göteborg-Posten.
In the SHL and CHL, Frölunda has played over 60 minutes of power play without getting any tackles.
Despite previously successful power play players like Ryan Lasch and Joel Lundqvist, Frölunda has the worst power play stats in the entire SHL at a weak 13.86 percent.
– If I had been so bombastic about it, I would have used this solution. We need to work on every stone and turn it over to start production in the power play. In five-on-five games, we’re a good hockey team, says Roger Ronberg.
Lulea won the CHL semi-final at home against Frölunda with a score of 4-3 after a penalty shootout and went to the final against Finnish Tappara.

Frölunda had three solid games in the first period and had to play four-on-three in overtime without scoring.
After the loss, Roger Ronberg was clear that there could be major changes in the team’s performance and that it might be necessary to change players.
– If we, the leaders and the players, together come up with a solution that we think will be better if we change the players, then we will do it. I am ready to do anything for this. If the players think we play better at the power game if I stand naked in the booth, then I do, says Roger Ronberg.
