New acquisitions and passing goals galvanized as AIK won the first match of the year.

AIK showed up with a lot of new things in the first match of the season against Sollentuna. New signings Rui Modesto, Omar Farag and Abdeslam Megashi took their place from the start, as did Robin Tehi and Jetmir Haliti, who returned to AIK from loan.

Branstrom was impressed
