Former MFF talent Kasper Nilsson has just landed a Premier League contract

Swede Doldis is getting close to Premier League action at Brighton’s first team.

As Sportbladet has learned, U national team member and former Malmö FF player Casper Nilsson, 19, will sign an A-team contract with the top six.

During the summer of 2020, Brighton bought young talent, then 16-year-old Kasper Nilsson from Malmö FF, with whom he played right-back for five seasons.

After two and a half years as a young professional at ranked Brighton & Hove as one of the best academies in England, the right-back is taking the next step in his development. As Sportbladet has learned, Nelson has been rewarded with a contract with the A-Team by the first team in the Premier League.

Nelson’s current youth contract expires in the summer and sixth in the table wants to ensure the right-back, who has been scouted by several Premier League clubs, among others, is retained within Brighton & Hove for the future and so signs a multi-year A-Team contract with the year-old. 19 years old, according to Sportbladet info.

During the autumn, Kasper Nelson shone as a right-back for the Brighton Under-21s in Premier League Reserve Team Series 2 with goals against Arsenal and assists against West Ham and Blackburn.

Kasper Nilsson has also, to date, played 16 caps for the Swedish Under-19, Under-17 and Under-16 teams.
