Phil Neville, 46, tried to sell his luxury flat in central Manchester in 2010.
After 13 years, the sale took place at the port – after a sharp collapse in prices.
– It took a long time, so he wants to get rid of it now, a source tells The Sun.
Between 1994 and 2005, Phil Neville belonged to Manchester United before the latter spent eight years at Everton with the England international.
All these years he and his family, his wife Julie and their two children, Harvey and Isabella, lived in a luxurious 410 square meter apartment in Manchester city center with a panoramic view of the city skyline.
Hot tub
But in 2010, the house was put up for sale for SEK 50 million when the family bought a mansion on Hill.
But the property, which includes a pool and hot tub, has not been sold.
After struggling for some time, the luxurious flat was rented out for £15,000 a month.
It has since been refurbished and put back on the market. Since 2020, Phil Neville has had to drop the price three times.
Half price
But now the former soccer star has caught up. The price has landed at SEK 25 million, reports The Sun.
The source tells the paper that Phil Neville is happy and relieved.
– He enjoyed living there but it took too long so he wants to get rid of it now.
Since February 2021, the Englishman has been the head coach of David Beckham’s Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, where the family now lives.
Between 2018 and 2021, he was the national team captain of the England women’s national team.
