Mateus Ward stabbed Joel Lasenante

But in struggling Lulea, goalkeeper Matthews Ward, 21, has now stepped forward.

Instead, coach Thomas “Bolan” Berglund gave 21-year-old Matthews Ward the chance at last.
Last Saturday he got his first win as a Luleå player when Linköping was defeated and today Ward has confidence again.

And he thanked him for that by keeping a clean sheet, saving all 16 of Rögle’s shots, all the while seeing his teammates move forward.
– It’s really fun. It flowed well and went well in training. I took this with me to the match, but it’s hard to put my finger on what it is, says the champ in C More.
Konstantin Komarek scored the only goal of the game in the second half as Lulea claimed their second straight win, in a game where the northern bottoms were considerably better.

The 21-year-old Ward came to Lulea for this year’s season after two years at Mora.
With the win, Lulea now has some air to the qualifying line and is 11th in the table.
