Malmö FF have confirmed their interest in Hugo Larsson from Bournemouth

Estepona. Bournemouth want to buy MFF midfielder Hugo Larsson, reports Sportbladet.

Now sporting director Daniel Anderson confirms that there is foreign interest in the players.

– They have until tomorrow to become a reality, he says.

Many major international transfer windows are closed on the night of February 1. As a result, many clubs are fighting against the clock to complete any new acquisitions.

Sportbladet was able to reveal yesterday that Premier League club Bournemouth have contacted MFF and announced their interest in buying Hugo Larsson. The plan they have is for him to be loaned out directly to MFF or Lorient in Ligue 1, who were recently bought by the same owners Bournemouth.

When the MFF team arrived in Estepona for their first training session during camp, Hugo Larsson was there. But the midfielder was the only player missing from the media after training.

Malmö FF’s sporting director Daniel Andersson does not want to confirm anything about any club interested in signing the 18-year-old, but reveals that there is interest.

– There is interest, it is. Then, says Anderson, all the pieces need to fall into place

“We’ll simply see…”

Do you think it will be sold and a deal will be made?

– I don’t want to appreciate him. Like I said, all the pieces need to fall into place. You have the player’s desire and our pieces in place. They have until tomorrow if it is to become a reality.

It’s a lot of money, can it be a record if I sell it?

– We simply have to see. It depends on the club that is interested, what they can pay and how it is for us. We hold him in high esteem, so obviously we need a lot of money to get him released.

Can you confirm Bournemouth is interested in him?

– I don’t want to discuss it.

If there is a deal, according to Sportbladet’s information, it is expected to be an Allsvenskan record amount. The most expensive transfer to date is when Aleander Isak was sold to Borussia Dortmund for SEK 90 million.
