AIK coach Andreas Bernström paid tribute to Robin Tehe

oblique. It is rumored that Robin Tihi will be leaving AIK.

Then Andreas Bernström put his foot down.

– It was awesome. There is no reason for his departure, says the coach.

Losing against Bröndby (1-2) but Andreas Brännström at least received a positive message. The 20-year-old center back Robin Tehe was the fittest in AIK and boosted his stock. Confident on the ball, rational in defensive play and solid throughout the game.

– In the first fifteen, he was the best on the field. He’s making a really good effort overall. Robben is brave in the defensive game and is not shy about leaving the defensive line, says Andreas Brenström.

“Damn it’s warm”

Over the winter, it was reported that AIK wanted to fire Tihi, who was loaned to Värnamo last year, and that there was no place for him in the team. However, Brunström has been impressed with the player during camp and wants to keep him.

– We are in a position where he entered the group very well. He’s doing very well in training and today he’s great. There is absolutely no reason for him to leave.

Taihei is really surprised when he hears his coach’s words.

– Damn it’s warm! I didn’t think so when I think of the match. Personally, I think there are situations that need to be improved and we lost.

Do you want to stay or leave?

– I enjoy AIK and especially when you hear things like this and you get such confidence from the coach. After all, AIK is my team and that contributes a lot to my decision.

“Be dead in a quarter of an hour.”

Veteran Jimmy Durmaz was one who had a harder time. The 33-year-old made his debut in an AIK jersey but struggled to keep up. Afterwards, he said the poor performance was entirely down to the format of the match.

– After a quarter of an hour I was completely dead!

What’s harder – physics or touch?

– It’s a combination of everything. Playing football is one thing. I’ve only been doing it for a week, but when you’re in a match you have to time it.

When will AIK get the “real” Jimmy?

– I wish for training matches.
