Hammarby chased after Noah Pearson – but nothing came of it.
Now the full back is ready for the Swiss Young Boys.
“It’s clearly the biggest deal we’ve done,” Melby’s sporting director Haas Larsson told Sportbladet.
A few weeks ago, Sportbladet was able to reveal that Noah Pearson was closely related to Hammarby. On a photograph depicting a whiteboard with the national team players of Bajen, the initials “NP” were on the list, and the club reportedly made several offers after that.
During Sportbladet’s deadline day broadcast, sporting director Jesper Jansson admitted that they had negotiated, but could not agree on a price.
Then it was the turn.
Ready to go abroad
Last Saturday, Sportbladet received information that a Swiss club had joined the chase.
It was Young Boys and now the transfer has been confirmed by the clubs. But the left-back returns to Listerlandet immediately after he was loaned out to Mjällby in the spring.

Mjällby’s chairman, Magnus Emeus, previously, in an interview with BLT, expressed hopes of getting at least ten million for a nugget. If so, the athletic director didn’t want to answer.
– I don’t really want to talk about money, but we got a much better deal with Young Boys.
Is it your biggest deal ever?
– It’s obviously the biggest one we’ve done.
How do you feel for a man of your rank to take such a step?
– it’s a wonderful feeling. He is a wonderful man who has worked all the years at Mjällby. He is amazingly humble and humble. He arrived from Switzerland 30 minutes ago and has already gone out to train with the others.
