Albert Egobe left Austria for Israel – criticizes

Six months have passed in Austria – and then Albert Egobi left for the Israeli Hapoel Hadera.

Now he says why.

– They just happened to us, says midfielder Kristianstadsbladet.

After six months at Helsingborgs IF, Albert Ejupi, 30, left the club this summer to play for Austrian TSV Hartberg. He only stayed there for a few months.

On deadline day, last week, Sportbladet was informed that Ejupi was on his way out, and on the verge of a transfer to Israel’s Hapoel Madera. Soon after, the midfielder was introduced.

We paid to train the clothes ourselves.

There have been twelve matches in Alpine country. Now the 30-year-old reveals the reason for the sudden move, despite having 1.5 years left on the contract.

– It doesn’t matter how good you are, they just happened to us. It was all our fault. We were five or six foreign players and none of us played. There were many… they were very unprofessional and we had to pay for the training clothes ourselves, among other things. It’s still Austria’s highest league, Albert Egobe tells Kristiansbladet.

The first week is unexpected

And on Wednesday evening, the Swede made his debut with his new team, against the great club Maccabi Haifa, where he jumped 20 minutes before the end of the match (1-1). Pleasantly surprised for the first time in Israel.

– It’s a very familiar club that took care of me in the best way. I had only heard negative things about Israel, but all very positive. I was given the best conditions ever.
