Peter Forsberg supported Modu in the Hockey Allsvenskan

Modo leads Hockeyallsvenskan and is probably the biggest favorite to make it to the SHL this spring.

One of the club’s biggest fans, Peter Forsberg, has scheduled the play-offs.

– I already asked “Hinken” about the schedule, says the Modo legend.

He is close to the playoffs in both the Hockeyallsvenskan and the SHL.

Modo is currently leading Hockeyallsvenskan in good style, although the table is getting narrower at the end.

Modo has supporters all over the world and one of the biggest, both as a hockey player and as a Modo fan, is Peter Forsberg, who turns 50 this summer. He has played for the club, been a sponsor and also worked as an assistant sports director for Modo Hockey and there can be no doubt at the heart of the club. When Modo left the SHL in the spring of 2016, Forsberg was so angry and disappointed that he was boiling when he left the arena.

Now he is happier.

positive.

and optimist.

– The team is not going like a train at the moment, and Löwen kicked them out last Friday. But I hope they finish first, get a chance to be selected in the quarterfinals, and have a home advantage throughout the playoffs, says Peter Forsberg and continues:

Modu has a wide squad, despite Dickinson’s injuries, among others, they are a team with a chance this spring. But as I see it, there are probably five or six teams that stand a chance. Moura and Södertälje are now in good shape.

Peter Forsberg now lives with his family in Zug, central Switzerland, and going and watching matches at the Hägglunds Arena has become more difficult and circumstantial these days.

– Of course I planned for the spring. This is what happens when Modo plays away when you go away and travel. I asked “Hinken” for the table, as the legend goes.

So count on Peter Forsberg’s presence and support when Modo plays important playoff games at home.
