Mehmet Ihtarin leads a chaotic life off the football field and now the 21-year-old Dutchman has been arrested by the police for the second time.
The goalkeeper belongs to Italian club Juventus and is said to have been arrested by police in Utrecht while he was celebrating his birthday.

Last September, Tahatrine became engaged to Tiktok star Jasmine, but now police confirm that a 21-year-old has been arrested and, according to De Telegraaf, suspected of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Juventus bought Ihattaren from Eindhoven in the summer of 2021, but the former super talent has only made headlines for things that have happened off the football field.
Police arrested Ihattaren for the first time already in November last year when he was suspected of making a threat and a year ago he caused an uproar when he flew home to the Netherlands without warning.

The striker did not enjoy his loan from Juventus to Sampdoria at all and was noted for not playing a minute in Serie A before he “disappeared”.
– I left because of the circumstances in Sampdoria. I was 19 years old and I was sitting in a hotel room. Alone and completely at the mercy of my destiny. I couldn’t take it anymore,” Ihattarin told De Telegraaf a year ago.
The striker was loaned out from Juventus to Ajax last spring but did not get any Eredivisie time at the time.
