Anders Lindbäck was replaced by Oskarshamn and went straight to the dressing room.
Today, the experienced goalkeeper was not present at Brynä’s training.
– We’ll see if he’s ready for selection against Leksand, unfortunately I can’t comment on that, says coach Mikko Manner.
The meeting with Oskarshamn was a real nightmare for Brennas, who won the penalty shootout 53-24 but lost the match 1-7.
Both goalkeepers, Anders Lindbäck and newly acquired Jussi Olkinuora, also had a hard time.
Lindbäck conceded Oscarshamn’s second goal somewhat easily at the start of the middle half. Soon after, it was 3-0 up and then Lindbäck headed towards the penalty area.
– I was about to replace him but he came himself, Maner said after the game yesterday.

– Yes, he had a tough game yesterday and we support everyone. I’m pretty sure there are two goalkeepers with experience who will help us in the final stages of the season. I’m so glad we have both. Well, of course they also want the goal back, but their routine, their personality, how they support each other… I’m 100% sure they can handle this and help the team, says Maner.

Brynäs is now short of the qualification mark for the prestigious meeting with Leksand.
