HV71 profiler turned 82 years old
HV Profile Jan “Tjuren” Lindberg has passed away.
He lived to be 82 years old.
– He did a lot for us. He has supported us over the years and has been a great help. Sad, says HV71 boss Anders Wilander.
There probably isn’t anyone who has visited Rosenlundshallen or Husqvarna’s new park over the years who has avoided all the color in Allon Janne “Tjuren” Lindberg.
He started as a goalkeeper in the 1990s.
Since then he has won many titles.
Host referee, HV mascot, captain, team host, supporter – Tjuren did most of the work on the ice with the goal of HV71 and opposing teams having a good time and getting an excellent experience
And with a bull tattooed on the flint on top of the head, the nickname was given.
After a period of illness, he has now died.
– I remember all the loving hugs between him and Peter Damberg. They always persuaded who can do more or who is stronger in a funny way. He didn’t know much about bull. But it was earthly, as you understand. It was a beautiful, beautiful point that had an important function. He was always on the ice and opened the side door and recovered players before matches, says HV legend Johan Davidson and continues:
– He was very proud of himself and those around him. He sold more ads on his own car than our marketing department did on players’ cars. And then he had “The Bull,” of course, on the scoreboard.
The bull fell asleep after a period of illness, and the son and daughter grieved for him.
The bull was 82 years old.
