There was no talk.
Växjö showed that they were outnumbered when they drove over Oskarshamn.
The victory was the fourth for the Lakers – at the same time that the leading scorer Ante Sumela was killed.
For the first time on the tossdan block – then Växjö and Oskarshamn collided in the hot Småland derby.
But it wasn’t very hot.
The home team was the strongest from the start and won easily 3-0.
The biggest organizer of the victory was Lukas Bengson from the Lakers. Paquin showed evidence of ample ammo when he was behind two of the team’s three goals.

The first came midway through the first period, after Bengson made some tasty moves before firing the gun from ‘The Citadel’. The rebound ended up with Robert Rosen, who was able to score the ball easily with his backhand.
Prior to that, Växjö had a CD in goal, but the goal was ruled out after a video review.
Then it took until the sixth minute into the middle of the period before he dropped the next goal. The scorer’s name was Glenn Gustafsson, he put the puck in there on the power play after a nice setup by Lukas Bengson.
Two minutes later came the decisive goal, 3-0 up, when Jayden Halbgoax headed in Ludwig Clisson’s shot from the blue.
Oskarshamn and shooting leader Ante Sumela could not threaten Växjö – thus the team secured its fourth straight win.
