The ten best placed teams in the regular season settle for the Allsvenskan championship title – and a place in the SHL next season.

When will the Hockeyallsvenskan 2023 playoffs be decided?
The first round of 16 will take place on March 12 and the final will be played on April 30.

Hockeyallsvenskan 2023 Playoffs – How do you decide?
Teams 1-6 in the regular season are placed directly into the Quarterfinals, and teams 7-10 settle into two of the 16 Finals in best-of-three matches. The winners of each of the 16 rounds advance to the quarter-finals.
Prior to the quarter-finals, the top team chooses an opponent from among the four lowest-ranked teams (Team 5 and Team 6, plus the Round of 16 winners). After that, the runner-up can choose an opponent according to the same principle, and so on. The quarter-finals, semi-finals and final were decided in best of seven matches.
Hockeyallsvenskan Playoffs 2023 – How is it played?
Teams finished 11-12 in regular season play for this season and are already ready for games in Hockeyallsvenskan next season.
Teams 13-14, on the other hand, settle for playoffs decided in best-of-seven games – with the winner of Hockeyallsvenskan playing next season as well.
Then the 16th Allsvenskan Tour will take place in 2023
