Criticism of Linus Oberg after the quarterfinals in the SHL

Orebridge. Timrå’s players were very upset by Örebro’s Linus Öberg in the third period.

They were on the ice and Emil Peterson handed a club slap from the booth.

– I think he could fall easily, says Tempras captain Anton Lander.

The quarter-finals are under way and it was a real battle between Örebro and Timra on Friday night.

It was already visible on the first drop when Matthias Brumé and Jonty Dahlin ended up next to each other in the drawing circle and there was close contact and verbal smacking between each other.

Örebro managed the first half through to the first quarter in better fashion and took the lead in the game. In the third period, they closed out the game with an open goal in a 4-1 win. Milton Oscarsson scored the home team’s fourth goal with an assist from Linus Oberg.

It was Oberg who started the focus in the third period. In an incident in the middle of the ice he came into close contact with Timrå’s player and the entire Timrå booth responded showing the classic diving hand move and shouting at the referees and Öberg.

– I don’t know what’s going on, but I think it might easily fall off a bit when we get a second of stumbling, but it’s fun with the vibes, says Anton Lander of Oberg’s behaviour.

Lander: Powered by our fans

After the ejection, Timrå’s player was Linus Öberg, both on the ice and from the booth.

They yelled at him and when he ended up in Timra’s booth, Emil Pettersson hit him with a club bit.

Hot Hockey and Elimination – This is a good summary of the first round of this series.

– I think we play well until we concede goals. But we have some bad passes. We go up in the second period, analyze Anton Lander.

Now the series turns to Timrå and a bustling town for Timrå.

We will get energy from our fans and maybe there was some tension in the first match. It’s even tougher and tougher, Lander concludes, in qualifying.
