Anders Lindbäck runs with Brynäs despite playing in Hockey Allsvenskan

Brynä’s team building continues ahead of next season in Hockeyallsvenskan.

Now the club confirms that it has opted to extend the contract with goalkeeper Anders Lindback, 35.

– There were no doubts, Lindbäck tells the club’s website.

Ahead of last season, Anders Lindbäck opted to return to his home country of Sweden and parent club Brynäs.

And even if Gavle’s comeback season didn’t go as planned by the keeper himself, he has now opted for an extension with the club.

‘Not a difficult choice’

Lindberg signed a one-year contract with Brynäs and told the club’s website himself that he felt ready to take the club back to the SHL.

– We all have a great desire for revenge and I’m absolutely excited and eager to return personally but also to be a part of the journey back to the SHL. I feel incredibly valued for the club, Lindbergh says, so it wasn’t a difficult choice to expand with Brinas.

Lindberg has had a total of 13 overseas seasons and has represented five different NHL organizations and bounces between the NHL and AHL.

“Undoubtedly the best goalkeeper”

Sporting director Johan Allsen is also pleased with the goalkeeper’s extension.

Anders is a key player for us and we are delighted to be able to extend his contract. There is more out of him and we are convinced we will see Anders play at his highest level and reach his full potential next season. Then we have, without a doubt, the best goalkeeper in the series, Alcén tells the club’s website.
