Tri Kronor crushed France – ready for the quarter-finals

Shots against the post, crossbar and goal – all in just two minutes.

Tre Kronor started at full speed and beat France 4-0.

Sweden is now ready for the World Cup quarter-finals with two matches remaining in the group stage.

France managed to put pressure on its native Finland. But for Tre Kronor, there was no such thing as talk.

The match actually ended after the first half.

Because even though France won shot stats 8-7 – it was 4-0 to Sweden.

“Fun too”

Barr ruled Lindholm lying at 1-0. Fabian Zetterlund scored twice and Henrik Tommernes scored three assists – all in the first 20 minutes.

– Two goals for me, it’s crazy fun. Great for the future, says SVT’s Fabian Zetterlund.

Sweden also managed to hit the target four times in the first five minutes of the match.

France had few chances, but Lassi Johansson showed his best team in goal. Johansson saved all 15 shots and was named player of the match in the Swedish national team.

Chance of group victory

Then Sweden took control of the match without any major difficulties. The second period was fairly uneventful and the third offered no goal celebrations.

Tre Kronor is second in Group A, one point behind the United States. Two matches remain in the group stage for Sweden.

On Monday they will face Denmark and on Tuesday they will face the United States in what appears to be a group final.
