“The joint decision to change the game formats in the playoffs and playoffs was made after evaluating the system that was previously in place. The SHL is also considering changing the order of play in the Round of 16 for the next season, ”the SHL writes.
The decision was made based on proposals from SHL clubs, and the new format would also be evaluated post-season.
In the round of 16 best-of-three matches, the best placed teams start at home and then settle at home two days in a row.
The first round in the SHL will take place on Thursday, September 14th.
