The club’s management and supporters hoped that Leo Karlsson would stay at Örebro and from the start of the season take part in its development.

The nine-game NHL limit is the limit for players with rookie contracts to have a loan opportunity.
If they play more matches, one season will be used up in the contract and clubs may keep the player for the entire season.
According to Leo Carlsson, playing for the San Diego Gulls club at the ranch is not an option.
– I have nothing to lose seeing where I stand there, it is of course a dream to play in the NHL as soon as possible. If it doesn’t work, I’ll play for Orebro in the SHL, if, of course, I do, says Leo Carlson.
May return in November
After several weeks in North America before and after the Nashville draft, Leo Carlson spent time with his family and friends in Karlstad.
There was a development camp in Anaheim and he will now train with Örebro for a month.
The Anaheim Ducks held rookie camp September 13-18 with training in Los Angeles and a tournament in Las Vegas.
From September 21st to the start of the league on October 14th is the main camp and eight training matches, during which a team of about 60 players is gradually reduced.
That means Leo Carlsson won’t be there when SHL begins on September 14th.
Leo Carlsson signed a three-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks.

In Orebro, defender Elias Peterson and forward Jonathan Lekremaki have contracts in the National Hockey League with the Vancouver Canucks.
