Jonathan Hedstrom returned to Timra as captain and scout

Timrå wrote on his official channels: “Welcome home!”

Jonathan Hedstrom will return to be part of the athletic administration.

With responsibility for the SHL and Hockeyallsvenskan, the 45-year-old will be a scout under sports director Kimmo Kapanen and head coach Ante Karlsson.

It’s been ten years since hardworking coach Jonathan Hedstrom played for Timra.

On 13 July, he was ready as the new head coach at Huddinge, a job he would now combine with being a scout at Timrå.

– It’s a pleasure to have Jonathan Hedstrom with us in our player poll. Kimmo Kapanen says he’s a profile closely associated with the club and to have him back here is very good.

Timrå continues to invest in captains and players with past connections to the club.

Jonathan Hedstrom played a total of six seasons as a striker for Timra.

During the 2004/2005 season, Kimmo Kapanen and Jonathan Hedström played together as the club’s best large crowd.

Last season, Timrå finished fifth in the SHL and won the SC quarter-final against Örebro in seven games.

Next weekend, Friday 11th September – Saturday 12th September, Timrå plays a tournament in Tampere against sset and Tappara or Ilves.
