Oscarshamn player suspected in five drug purchase cases.

Last Thursday, Sportbladet reported that a well-known SHL player was suspected in five cases of drug purchase. During 2021 and 2022 he delivered several thousand crowns to an accused drug dealer.
The information emerged during the investigation of the accused drug dealer, as the police found a list of more than a hundred people who transferred sums to the suspected dealer.

The respective SHL player now applies. It’s the new acquisition of Oskarshamn Viktor Ludin, who played AHL hockey last season for the Belleville Senators. When the events happened, he was representing Timrå IK.
“Due to the fact that our player Viktor Lodin is currently experiencing an unpleasant rumor spreading in social media and in direct contacts, here is a statement from Viktor and IK Oskarshamn,” he wrote to the club on their website.

Furthermore, Oskarshamn admits that they were aware of Luden’s troubles when they recruited him the previous spring.
“Viktor has undergone treatment and entered into a collaboration with IK Oskarshamn where we have a plan to ensure that Viktor continues to be healthy and work towards a positive future both as a person and as a hockey player,” says club director Johan Göransson.
The 24-year-old is also speaking out.
“I hope now that I will be able to look forward with positive feelings and be a role model for other people who have gone through or are going through an addiction problem or some other reason who need a second chance and who are taking advantage of a new chance,” says Victor Ludin.
