Frolunda mourns Henrique, 15, who was found dead in Alingsas

15-year-old Henrique was found dead in Alingsas.

Frölunda is now expressing his sadness over ‘Henke’ who played in one of the club’s under-15 teams.

“A very tragic announcement that has hit the association hard,” Frolunda wrote on his website.

15-year-old Henrik disappeared without a trace on Monday last week.

On Sunday evening, he was found dead near his home in Alingsas.

“This announcement has shaken the association significantly, especially considering how important the sport of ice hockey is to Hinkie,” Frolunda wrote.

Support his teammates

Frölunda declares that since the disappearance they have kept informed of the development of events and have been in constant contact with those close to them.

“In this difficult moment of grief and loss, Frolunda is focused on supporting Henrik’s family, the captains and his teammates along with the families,” the club wrote.

Frölunda got professional help so that everyone would get the help and support they needed in this tragic event.

Support from SHL clubs

The SHL and several clubs in the league sent heart emojis to Frölunda on social media following the announcement.

According to police, a 16-year-old is in custody on probable cause for the murder of 15-year-old Henrique.

Frölunda declined to make any further comments about the situation.
