Långshyttan started the season with 0-43 and 0-54.

The shooting statistics in the two matches were set at 5-127 and 8-172.

– Our goalkeeper Midas Lappalainen is smart, he is 16 years old and is playing great games, says coach Stefan Warg in Sportbladet’s Hockeymorning.

In the first two of the three hockey games, Langchitan had a goal differential of 0-97.

Away to Häradsbygden the loss was 43-0 and at home to Hedemora it was a 54-0 loss.

16-year-old goalkeeper Midas Lappalainen is getting up to three shots per minute against him.

– He’s so great, he’s a really good goalkeeper, you should keep an eye on him in the future. Of course it is difficult for him to let these discs in, but he handles them well, says Stefan Warg.

Former star goaltender and now SDHL sporting director Oscar Alsenfelt was a guest in the studio.

– 66 in memorization percentage looks like this. Oscar Alsenfelt says that saving more than 100 balls a game is very good.

Interrogation of opponents

Hidemura was already criticizing the match in the local newspaper Dalla Demokraten.

“It’s ridiculous to have them in the series,” says coach Marcus Carlstrom.

“It’s a security risk,” says board chairman Mikael Grabow.

-We have investigated this criticism. “It says more about them than about us,” says Stefan Warg.

Against Hedemora, Långshyttan only managed ten to fifty.

-We want to play hockey and have fun. What we did was just try to get a team together. We have to build on what exists and then correct it. This was their second hockey game ever, and they didn’t do any practice games or anything, says Stefan Warg.

The losing streak is in danger

Next up is first team OKRA away next Wednesday evening.

The goal is to win this season. We should be able to pull it off, at least I hope so. So far it has evaded goals, and may be the only bitter one. We didn’t really expect that, says Stefan Warg.

Presenter Christopher Kveborg points out that the biggest loss in Swedish hockey ever is 72-1.

Larsbo lost to Morgårdshammar B almost 50 years ago, in 1974.

It was with eight players and a 16-year-old goalkeeper picked out from the crowd.

NHL, SHL, SDHL are in the program

Over at Hockeymorgon, Sportbladet’s Jonathan Ekilio and Viaplay’s Jakob Josefsson also talked about the start of the NHL.

Also on the link is John Knuts, having played his 722nd match for Leksand, which is the most ever for Dala.

Also in the studio are Simon Norberg and Joanna Lagos.

Hockey Morning is broadcast live every Tuesday and Friday between 8.00 and 9.00 am on Sportbladet, YouTube and Facebook.

It can then be watched and listened to as a podcast on the usual platforms.
