Jasper Bratt scored two goals and even played one goal.
But like damn it, New Jersey got beat by Arizona – after a penalty decision.
– It is bad that we came back from two goals behind and still lost, the Swedish star sighs after the 3-4 strike.
It was as if Thursday’s opener at The Rock was repeated with the Devils the next day.
They opened sluggishly and fell behind, but they rallied well in the second half to equalize and take the lead.
But this time it didn’t end so happily. The Coyotes responded in the third period, then won the shootout.

Close to Pratt’s bluff
But for his part, Jesper has nothing to apologize for. He scored two goals himself – both after delicious sandwiches provided by Jack Hughes – and played through to the third.
