It looks like the junior crowns will make a strong team for the JVM in Gothenburg.
Al-Ittihad captain Magnus Havilid has now selected his squad for the five-nation tournament in the Czech Republic.
What’s new is that Alexander Steen will be part of the national team management.
Alexander Steen will join Magnus Hävelid and the assistant coaches in managing the team.
Jerion Dahlgren takes charge of the strikers, while Robin Johnson in the Czech Republic and Pierre Johnson in Gothenburg coach the full-backs.
Known for his long and successful NHL career, 39-year-old Alexander Steen works day-to-day as the sporting director at Sundsvall in Hokitan.
One player who could be counted on to join the JVM is 11th guard Tom Wilander, who plays for Boston University in the NCAA.
Very current players Liam Öhgren at Färjestad and Noah Dower Nilsson at Frölunda have been injured throughout the season.
The five-nation tournament will be held in Chomutov, Czech Republic, from November 9-12.
Switzerland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Finland side with the resistance.
Before the JVM, the juniors have a camp with matches against Switzerland and the USA in Ángelholm from December 13-22.
