Nine periods without a goal – and the eighth loss in a row.
It was another dark night for the HV71 crisis team.

Center Nick Shore and defender Oliwer Kaski were two successful acquisitions last season when HV went from threatening the playoffs to being the strongest team in the series.
In the encounter with Timrå, they both returned.
After a long layoff due to injury, Caskey and Shore after not getting any NHL call-up, the American was ready to play during game day.
But the two were unable to break the curse that befell HV during the beginning of the season.
Instead, Shore was directly involved in two of Timra’s goals.
Seven straight wins and a terrible 12-33 goal differential was a dismal record for HV71 on the road this season.
After 0-3 against Timra, there are eight losses.
Two broke the goal score
Otherwise, HV71 had the best start in the first period and created some of their own against Jakob Johansson.
But already midway through the first period, Timrå’s goalkeeper had to leave the game after being run over by HV striker Joonas Nättinen, who in turn received a push from Timrå’s full-back Uli Julevy.
– He replaced himself. “He took a hit to the skull and didn’t play anymore,” coach Anders Karlsson told TV4.
Tim Joel came on and kept a clean sheet.
Carlson was not satisfied with the first 20 minutes. But we had to see another Timra come in and two long-awaited scorers.
Anton Lander scored first 1-0 and then Philipp Hallander 2-0. First goal of the season for both of them.
Then old HV coach Johan Lindbom took a timeout.
During the break, he felt disappointed with his team:

Reducing Joonas Nättinen to 2-3 against Örebro ten minutes before the end of the third period was the latest high-profile goal.
Since then, HV have played ten minutes and three games while also conceding 16 goals.
