He broke Connor McDavid’s collarbone and was suspended for racist abuse.

Now the worthy Brandon Manning has been introduced from the NHL by hockey Allsvenska Björklöven.

“I’m looking forward to getting started and being a part of winning a title for the city,” Manning says in the intro video.

Björklöven strengthens on the back side before continuing the Allsvenskan hockey game.

This is undoubtedly a striking exaggeration.

During Saturday, “Löven” introduces Maple Leaf player Brandon Manning, 33, the reigning NHL champion.

“I’m really looking forward to meeting all your fans and playing in front of this club’s passionate supporter base,” Manning says in the club’s social media introduction video.

McDavid is hurt

Manning has 267 NHL games on his resume with the Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers. And he’s made quite a few headlines — perhaps above all regarding a certain star from Edmonton.

In 2016, superstar Connor McDavid broke his collarbone after a tackle from Manning, who was then a player with the Flyers. McDavid accused Manning, at the time, of intentionally trying to harm him.

“I’ve never seen anything so classy on the ice,” McDavid said at the time, according to Sportsnet.

However, Manning himself noted that the situation was completely unconscious.

Contract throughout the season

In 2019, when Manning was playing in the AHL, he was suspended for five games after using a racial slur against an opposing player.

The following season, the Canadian opted to take a sabbatical before moving to German side Straubing Tigers, with whom he had recently been with.
