Vancouver wins over Nashville • Elias Pettersson’s hat-trick

With that, the 24-year-old’s average filler is now alone in second place in NHL records.

“I was a little worried that I would miss the open goal, like the last time I had the chance, but it went well,” says the 24-year-old from Ongi with a wide smile in a television interview after the final whistle.

With those three hits, ‘EP’ has a total of 16 points in nine games meaning he ranks second behind the NHL scoring record, trailed only by New Jersey’s Jack Hughes.

– It’s very fun to play now, he continues.
