Timrå rises to fourth place after beating Växjö.

Jonathan Dallin was behind the 3-2 win when the home team turned the game around two minutes into the second half.

– Winning is very important for us, says Magnus Pääjärvi-Svensson to TV4Play.

After losing 4-1 to Leksand last time out, it’s time to host Timrå Växjö at home to the SCA Arena. Växjö also came off a 0-2 loss to Malmö, but before that had achieved four straight wins.

It was also the visitors who started the better and after just over four minutes of play, Kalle Kossila managed to make it 1-0 to Växjö, who had been the better team in the first period.

He turned around in two minutes

Just before half-time, Emil Pettersson had a great chance to equalize, but Emil Larme made the save by extending his leg from a prone position and making the save with his skate.

But in the second half, the home team equalized the score to 2-1 in two minutes and 12 seconds. The 1–1 came via Magnus Pääjärvi-Svensson and the 2–1 came shortly afterwards via Oliver Johansson.

Timrå continued to push the away team down. The score came at 3-1 11 minutes before the end of the second half through Jonathan Dallin, which forced Vaccio coach Jurgen Johnson to take a time-out. The visiting team did not shoot any shots on goal during the first seven minutes of the second half.

“Glad we won”

In the third period, Växjö pulled one back late on and then took out the goalkeeper at 3-2 with just over two minutes remaining. But there were no more goals and Timrå got three points and thus rose to fourth place in the table with the same points as third-placed Skellefteå and second-placed Luleå.

Magnus Pääjärvi-Svensson was satisfied with the three points.

– After the first period we said we would stop for gas and get out and drive. Sometimes it’s that simple.

– Obviously it’s nice to score a goal, but above all it’s nice to win. We got quite a few points at the end, so it’s great to get a win before half-time here. For the whole club and all the players, he told TV4Play.
