The San Jose Sharks are the worst team in the NHL throughout the salary cap era.

But there are grade differences even in the NHL’s hottest basement and nothing justifies a one-point result after ten games.
Not to mention there is no defense for what happened against the Canucks at home in the Shark Tank last night.
They completely collapsed and were thrashed 10-1 – although the visitors broke their rhythm after a while.
“It’s the most embarrassing loss in all my years in San Jose,” says an annoyed Tomas Hertl when he meets the media afterwards.

However, even those who usually produced had a stage. Elias Pettersson answered with three assists and defenseman Quinn Hughes scored five points — one goal and four assists.
Fabian Zetterlund scored San Jose’s consolation goal, if that’s even that much of a consolation.
