Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looked baffled when William Eklund’s goal was disallowed.
They looked even happier and stood and cheered when the Vancouver Canucks scored and won.
However, Elias Pettersson went scoreless from the game and lost the lead in NHL scoring.
Queen Elizabeth dropped the ball between the Vancouver Canucks as Markus Naslund and the San Jose Sharks landed in 2002.
Now it’s Prince Harry who released the graphic when the same team met in British Columbia.
Prince Harry and Meghan got into an eventful ice hockey match in the stands.
Penalty kick for Hoglander
William Eklund’s 1-0 goal was disallowed on the rebound after fellow forward Fabian Zetterlund entered the first set with the puck and caused goalie interference.
Nils Hoglander was then awarded a penalty in the first half for a foot foul.
However, Sam Lafferty was able to extend the home lead to 2-0 in the subsequent numerical disadvantage.
Before he had to leave the game, the in-form Nils Hoglander had time to play with Quinn Hughes to score the key goal.
– Nils Hoglander was important to us. He has a lot of talent in skating, physical play and shooting. “I love playing with him, he led our game,” says Sam Lafferty.
“It creates chaos”
Quinn Hughes and JT Miller continued to score with a goal, an assist and a goal, respectively.
The big save of the game was made by Quinn Hughes, who was named player of the match.
– Quinn Hughes single-handedly outperforms the opponents’ defense. He outshines his player and others are forced to leave their mark. It creates chaos. I’m just trying to stay out of the way. He shoots when there is traffic and with the timing, it’s not the hardest shot but it comes from sick angles and when the goalkeeper is in a weird position, says JT Miller.
Elias Pettersson was scoreless and trails in league points with 28 points.
Goalkeeper Quinn Hughes leads the list alone with 30 points, ahead of David Pastrnak and JT Miller with 29 points.
Prince Harry and Meghan now live in Los Angeles.
