After the final whistle between Djurgården and Karlskoga, a huge fight broke out on the ice.
Starring: Albin Grewe and Hampus Plato.
– Next time he can have a real fight and we’ll see what happens, says Plato.
A large number of players were involved in the melee after Djurgården’s 3-2 home win against Karlskoga in Hovet.
Djurgården’s Albin Grewe, Uli Liss, Karlskoga’s Hampus Plato and Viktor Lennartsson received penalty kicks after the final whistle.
Grewe was quickly welcomed onto the ice by the referees, and when everything finally calmed down, it was an angry Hampus Plato who described the course of events, to say the least. He claims that it all started when Albin Grewe jumped on him.
– It was different if he was looking for me when everyone was on the notes, but now he hits me when I stand on one leg. He takes three punches before I realize what’s happening, Plato says and continues:
-If you haven’t been able to play hockey since you were young… it’s difficult among adults. When you can’t play at a high level, it’s a shame, then you have to act like a pig.

Do you have something that has not been said to him before?
– No nothing. I met him during my first year. From what I understand, he’s a nice guy off the ice. I have absolutely nothing against him off the ice. But the way he handles the situation on the ice, where he flies into a player standing on one leg and finishes the game, I think it’s below the belt.

Plato wears a jacket over his nose, but he doesn’t think it showed during the fight.
– I don’t think so, he doesn’t hit that hard. Plato smiles and sends a pass to striker Djurgard:

Albin Grewe left the arena without speaking to the media. Teammate Viktor Nilsson doesn’t think Grewe needs to suit up when the two teams meet in Karlskoga.
“I think it would be the other way around,” Nelson says.
Uli Liss – who was pushed to the side by Lennartsson when the battle began to calm down, causing another turmoil – dealt with it quickly.
– Exactly yes. There was a little chatter at the end, but that’s part of it. Hockey is a lot of emotions. As long as he stays on the ice, you can still be friends out there, Les says.
