Failure to evict results in penalty
When Norwegian Guru Reitan was brought down in the penalty area after a failed exit from Liverpool defender Gili Flaherty, the referee did not hesitate.
Kirby was given the confidence with a penalty and easily scored to make it 1-0, the only goal of the match.
But Liverpool turned the game around.
Double Penalties – The Swede has no chance
In the 67th minute, American striker Katie Stengel tied 1-1.
And hit a cross on the arm of defender Millie Bright and Stingel the penalty kick into the right corner of the Swedish goalkeeper Mosovich.
