Shot in the head by a policeman

According to the police report, Lo got into an argument with a man who was behaving menacingly with a bottle of wine. He wrestled with him and asked him to calm down and leave.

Then, the offender, an off-duty policeman, pulled out a pistol and shot Lo in the head, police say. According to local newspaper Fohla de S.Paulo, he also allegedly kicked the 33-year-old twice in the head before fleeing the scene.

The star was taken to the hospital, where he was found brain dead. His family said in a statement that he did not expect to wake up from his coma.

The culprit is still on the run and the police are looking for him. Brazilian police, according to the BBC, have stated that an investigation has been opened into the attempted murder.
