– I work hard on the field, push my teammates and maybe speak differently…, says Djordgic with a fresh smile.
– I think he gives a little different respect than the other teams too. I have enough experience to know how we should change pace during matches as well, when we should put more speed on the ball, or when we should have time to collect more.
‘There is still a lot of work to do’
Degerfors led 1-0 after a goal by Diego Campos until the 85th minute when Oscar Aja equalized for Elfsburg. Then Borås scored a penalty kick in the 90th minute.

– Now we are looking forward to playing matches. It wasn’t the case at the start of the season. Now we really feel we can win every game. I hope and believe that we can avoid getting into trouble. I know this team is good enough to stay at Allsvenskan.

– It’s been a crazy season for me. Lots of people counted me out this summer, but I backed out, worked hard and waited for the chance to go back to the eleventh.
– I now feel that I have an important role, that I am doing what I came for – to help the Degerforce team in many different ways.
– I am happy to start the matches again. I accept this role. I really don’t want us to leave. It is not an experience that I want to have at the end of my career. I won’t let that happen, says Nikola Djordjic, who is contracted with Degerfors until the end of December 2023.

My contract expires next year. I don’t think about it now. Now it comes to resolving this situation with the team.
What are your experiences fighting at the bottom of a series?
– Oh, then maybe I should think about the beginning of my career back home in Serbia. after, after? No, I mostly played in teams that were at the top.
