There are times when you have to say no.
If TV4 expert Lotta Schellin got a plane ticket to Qatar, she’d rather tear it to shreds than go.
– I won’t feel safe for five ur, she says.
Lotta Schellin can talk about football as long as she wants to. Put her in a TV studio or call her on the phone and the conversation can go on into the evening.
The attacking icon, who has scored 88 goals for the blue and yellow in his career, believes France can be toxic despite injuries to Pogba, Benzema and Kante. But it looks better for Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Spain.
The thing about watching TV when the national teams are playing is that you don’t have to be so reckless. You have to speak to the general public, everything from Ola, 75, and Ajda, 62, to the youth. It should be a language that makes it a little easier as a whole, you say.

Schelin will combine the roles of studio speaker and expert commentator alongside Adam Pinthorp. Will do it for Cmore, TV4 and from Stockholm – 500 miles north of Doha.
– The more information I get over time, the more “Oh crap” I feel. There is no way to go there. The SVT and the four just sent what needed, but for me it wasn’t a good fit anyway. I live with a woman and in Qatar it is not legal. It does not feel safe for me to stay there.

The WC team at Camores/TV4 received information from Amnesty International on how laws are written in Qatar. Lotta Schielene listened carefully and read the material she came across, all to get to the bottom of what was going on in the host country. How women and LGBT people are discriminated against, and how guest workers are exploited.
She was particularly interested in Carmen’s story. In an interview with Sportbladet, the woman tells how she came to Qatar to work for FIFA – but had to flee to avoid imprisonment. Even though it was she who was assaulted at home.
She was advised to marry the man who assaulted her. That’s how it looks. If something happens, you end up in a sick tangle of laws. It’s crazy that you don’t know where to go. Every cone should understand that.
