A new star lit up at Manchester United.
Alejandro Garnacho, 18, scored his first goal for the club’s first team – his idol Cristiano Ronaldo played it.
Then he celebrated Ronaldo’s goal gesture.
Alejandro Garnacho may have grown up at Atletico Madrid, but he grew up with a Real Madrid icon Cristiano Ronaldo Like his great idol.
Now they play in the same team and last week they started their first match together in a 3-0 win over Sharif in the Europa League.
“I don’t know if this is real or I’m dreaming”Garnacho wrote on Twitter afterwards.

Tonight they got a chance to meet again.
Then the 18-year-old’s dream really came true. After 17 minutes of the meeting with Real Sociedad, he scored his first goal with A Manchester United Especially Cristiano Ronaldo.
Garnacho’s delight knew no bounds and he chose, appropriately enough, to celebrate the goal by copying Ronaldo’s goal gesture.
United second in the group
But the goal was the only goal in the match and 1-0 was not enough for United to pass Real Sociedad and take first place in the group.
Instead, it is the Spaniards who advance directly to the Round of 16, while United will advance to the Round of 16 when the Europa League play-off matches begin in mid-February.
There, United will face one of Group C in the Champions League, i.e. Ajax, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Salzburg, Juventus, Seville, Shakhtar Donetsk or Sporting.
A draw takes place on Monday.
