After Aleksandar Milosevic jumped and replaced Karl Starvelt against Slovenia, the AEK defender revealed he played injured.
– We have to take day by day, he sighs.
First, Pontus Jansson thanked himself in the squad last year and then Marcus Danielson left the same message after losing the World Cup.
Philip Hellander had a long-term injury and Victor Nelson Lindelof returned late to the group to rehabilitate his back.
Then Karl Starvelt took a place next to Joachim Nilsson against Slovenia.
But at the end of the first half, he also had to throw in the towel after “pulling” his back.
– I felt stabbed. I don’t know more than that. We’ll see what the x-ray says. Starfelt says, but I can tell he doesn’t feel good.

I had surgery in pre-season and had some problems during the season. When I came to the national team after the Helsingborg game, the situation swelled a little. That’s how it is. But Janne wanted me in and then you couldn’t refuse, says the 30-year-old and continues:
We’ll see how it feels tomorrow. To be honest, it doesn’t feel like a great deal these days. But we can only hope that it will improve.
You really shouldn’t have played that much today?
– I don’t know how Jean and the staff think. But during training I could not move freely. She held me back a lot and it was obviously tough. I had “ice” the whole time and tried to do better. I went a little bit in the adrenaline when I jumped. But it is an opportunity that you cannot refuse, to be allowed to represent Sweden. It was just biting and driving.
Is there any uncertainty ahead of Sunday against Norway?
– We’ll see how the knee feels after the flight and everything. You should never say never. We have to take day by day.

– (Laughter) I hope that doesn’t happen. But soon I do not remember everyone who is not here. It was very strange that he could be as he was in the same situation. The captain of the league says it’s very strange.
