This is the player who will be one of the first to return to the Allsvenskan this summer.
According to Sportbladet information, Elfsborg has agreed a contract with midfielder Sebastian Holmen – and if nothing unexpected happens, the club will offer him as the next signing soon.
Elfsborg wants to be part of the fight for the Swedish gold this season and is currently eighth in the Allsvenskan table. The team has 19 points and therefore has six points until BK Häcken is top of the league. Club director Stefan Andersson has previously been clear that he would like to see returnees like Niklas Hoult and Marcus Rohden at the club as soon as possible, and even if nothing is clear or falls closer to Niklas Hoult, a move to the club will be made.
The two parties are now wrapping up negotiations and Elfsburg hope to reach an agreement with the player within the next few weeks. But according to Sportbladet information, another return is basically ready for the club. It’s about the midfield Sebastian Holmen.
Orally Elfsborg and Sebastian Holmén agree
There, both parties verbally agree to the contract, but there is still some paperwork left. But all indications are that Sebastian Holmen will be the next returnee for the club next week. Holmen has previously been stalked by Danish Randers and recently comes from a residence in Rezespur, Turkey. Holmen was educated in football in Elfsburg and played there between 2007-2016, before moving to Dynamo Moscow and later Willem II before signing with Kaikor Rizespor.
Sportbladet searched in vain for club manager Stefan Anderson for comment.
