Allsvenskan and Superettan return to C More and Telia Play

C More broadcast Allsvenskan and Superettan for many years before Discovery took over the rights in 2020.

Now broadcasts are back in C More.

Starting this weekend, Discovery broadcasts can also be watched on C More and Telia Play.

By collaborating with Warner Bros. Discovery, Telia and C more Now broadcast matches from Allsvenskan and Superettan.

This means that Telia and C More customers can watch Discovery broadcasts for the rest of the season.

“Our goal”

Sunny Ekstrand, who heads up the Swedish operations for Warner Bros Discovery, is satisfied with the deal.

“We have reached an agreement with Telia which means that our broadcasts from Allsvenskan and Superettan will be able to be watched on Discovery Plus, on our Linear Events channels and now also on Telia Play and C More,” he says in a press release.

Our goal is to grow interest in Swedish football and this is part of that strategy.

Required subscriptions

The agreement is effective from August 20th and those with Telia and C More subscriptions can stream matches on Telia Play or via C More’s streaming service.

The C More subscription that applies to watching matches is the “C More Premium Plus” package, which costs SEK 399 per month (or SEK 499 without a commitment period).

The Telia package required to watch matches is “All sports from Telia, C More and Viaplay”, which costs SEK 599 per month.
