Amanda Nielden on Sister Matilda’s success in the European Championships

shout. Little sister Nelden is ready for the semi-finals of the European Championship with the F19 national team.

Older sister Nelden is following up on the success of the England national team’s European Championship base – and admits she is her sister’s biggest critic.

– But I do it humbly and she gives it back, too, says Amanda Nelden with a smile.

The Nelden family has a hectic summer.

While Amanda, 23, was in England with the national team, little sister Matilda, 17, participates in F19-EM in the Czech Republic.

– It feels a bit unrealistic. We’ve talked about the fun of playing together in the future. I’m very happy for her, because she was taken out. And I’ll try to follow that as best I can, Amanda Nielden promised during the training camp in Bastad a few weeks ago.

The promise made by the left-back so far. Sweden is ready for the semi-finals and several ‘big’ European Championship teams will be seated in front of the TV on Wednesday.

Amanda Nelden.

Matilda Nelden and the F19 national team will play in the semi-finals tonight.

“I talk every day”

There are a lot of people interested in reality, so it’s fun, says Amanda Nelden and tells her she’s in close contact with her sister.

We talk every day, check how things are going. She talks a little bit about accomplishments, of course, and tries to tell each other what she’s doing, good and bad. Make sure she’s okay and that I’m okay.

Would you say you are her biggest critic?

– Yeah, I might say that haha… I think it’s also important to take steps all the time. But I do it humbly and she gives it back too.

Amanda Nelden believes that Sweden will beat Spain.

– It’s a strong opposition but it should be in the semi-finals, she adds.
