Ammar Abdel Rahman Ahmed with the goal of his dream in AIK

A new star has lit up in AIK.

In his first match since the start, Ammar Abdel Rahman Ahmed, 18, shocked himself with a dream goal.

– I don’t even know how to talk now, he says after success.

Born and raised in Rinkeby, Amar Abdul Rahman Ahmed had previously referred to Martin Mutumba as his idol.

When Sportbladet interviewed him at the end of last season, he promised to make an offer.

Since then, injuries have halted the super talent and he only recently started to finish several roles in the Allsvenskan.

At the start of the second half against Degerforce, he started his first match.

Then narrow it down immediately.

“Very high”

Minutes left in the first half and in poor shape 0-1, he sent the ball to the left, cleared Nikola Djordgic with five pointers, bludgeoned Gustav Granath – and shoved the ball into the net.

– What a goal! What confidence! Expert Bar Hanson at Discovery+ says it’s far too high for this goal.

Even Nikola Djurgic raised his hat.

– I’ll be honest and say it was a great goal. At the same time, we must be able to better defend ourselves. It’s a defensive game for youngsters, says Djurdjic.

self shocked

Ammar Abdel Rahman Ahmed himself seemed to be shocked by the success.

– I don’t know what to think now. I don’t even know how to talk. But yes, that’s a nice goal. I am involved in a lot there. When we have players like Yassin (Ayari), Jordan (Larson) and Bilal (Hussain), I can combine them well. I am so happy. Now he says it’s just a matter of persistence like this.
